Product Overview
BSC (Battery Swap/Stack Connection) system provides a modular blind mate system for compact power & signal requirements. A variable frame design using aluminum extrusions provides unlimited customization while maintaining durability and rigidity in a cost-effective package. This series combines a high-strength thermoplastic shell, aluminum alloy frame, precision stamped terminals, and high-conductivity machined power contacts for optimal electrical and mechanical performance. BSC provides various modular inserts for up to 1000VDC and terminal options to handle from size 20 (7.5A) thru 12mm pins (450A) accommodating 0.35mm2 thru 120mm2 cable. Key features of the BSC series include IP2X touch proof contacts, HVIL, thermistor options, 200+ mating cycles, and +- 2mm float in both X and Y.
The BSC series currently has 10 module insert options with plans to tool additional standard configs to handle various hybrid power & signal applications while reducing space requirements for different pin counts and reduced voltage requirements. While the BSC connector elements are unsealed, optional shrouds are available to seal the interface while maintaining the +-2mm float and blind mating features.
