Product Overview
PowerLok Plus (PLP) is a high performance, compact, aluminum alloy interconnect solution for EV and Hybrid heavy equipment and transportation applications. PLP provides electrical ratings up to 1500VDC and 500A (Continuous @ 80°C Ambient) with ISO 16750-3 Vibration, IP67/IP68 (1m @ 48 hours)/6K9K sealing, 360° shielding, 1008 hr salt spray, multiple keying options, straight and right-angle configurations, and up to 3 positions. PLP 500 brings a 2 and 3 multi-pole, ganged receptacle for mating single position plugs. PLP single pole plugs implement an upgraded durable latch design based on the original PowerLok G1 with a new CPA feature. PLP is available as field assembled connectors which accommodate shielding cable sizes from 2.5mm² to 10mm² (60 Series) and 35mm² to 150mm² (300/500 Series). PLP connectors are engineered for a diverse set of applications including electric power distribution (batteries, inverter, PDU, and motors) for automotive, truck, bus, agricultural, construction, and off-road vehicles.
